Terms of service
Agreement
These terms cover the powertoolbox.app website and the PowerToolBox desktop application ("the software"), both provided by TerraKode LLC ("TerraKode", "we"). By using the site or the software, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use them.
The software
PowerToolBox is proprietary software. While in early access, we grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use it for your own internal purposes, including auditing Power Platform tenants you administer.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where applicable law gives you that right regardless of this term.
- Redistribute the software or present it as your own.
- Use it to audit tenants you are not authorized to access.
When paid licensing is introduced, new downloads may come with updated license terms. Copies you already have keep working under the terms they shipped with.
Your responsibilities
The software connects to Microsoft services using an app registration you create in your own Microsoft Entra ID tenant, under your own permissions and Microsoft's terms. You are responsible for having authorization to audit the tenants you scan, and for what you do with the findings.
Acceptable use of this site
Don't abuse the support form or the underlying API: no spam, no automated submissions, no attempts to probe or disrupt the service. The form is rate-limited and bot-protected; repeated abuse gets blocked.
Intellectual property
The software, this site, and their content are the property of TerraKode LLC. The reports the software generates from your tenant's data are yours.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and the software are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Audit findings are automated analysis, not legal or compliance advice; verify them before acting.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TerraKode is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the software — which, while the software is free, is zero.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Changes
We may update these terms. Changes are posted on this page with an updated date; significant changes get a note in news. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
