Privacy policy
This policy covers the powertoolbox.app website and the PowerToolBox desktop application. The short version: this site sets no cookies and has no accounts, and the app runs on your machine and uploads nothing.
What this site collects
Support tickets. When you submit the support form, we receive your name, email address, optional company name, subject, and description. This goes to our helpdesk at TerraKode (terrakode.io), where it is stored as a support ticket so we can respond. The backend sends you a confirmation email with your ticket number. Rate-limiting and spam scoring process the same data on the server.
Ticket status lookups. The status form sends only the ticket number you type. It returns the ticket's public status fields. No email address is required or stored by the lookup.
Bot detection. The support form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare processes the widget interaction to tell humans from bots; see Cloudflare's own privacy policy for what the widget collects.
Analytics. This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless: it does not track individuals, collect personal data, or fingerprint your device. It exists so we know which pages get read.
Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser, referrer) for security and operations.
What this site does not do
- No cookies. Not for tracking, not for sessions — there are no sessions. That is why there is no cookie banner.
- No accounts, no newsletters, no marketing email lists.
- No advertising or profiling trackers. No Google Analytics.
- No sale or sharing of your information with third parties for marketing.
The desktop app
PowerToolBox runs locally on your Windows machine. Your audit data — environments,
flows, findings, reports — stays on your machine. The app's only network calls are
to Microsoft services you authorize (Entra ID sign-in, Power Platform Admin APIs,
Dataverse) and to Microsoft hosts for connector icons. Your credentials are stored
locally, and secrets are redacted from the app's own logs under
%APPDATA%\PowerToolBox\logs.
Data retention
Support tickets are retained in the TerraKode helpdesk for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain a support history. You can ask for a ticket and its contents to be deleted by emailing us.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you submitted through the support form. Email support@powertoolbox.app and we will handle it.
Children
This site and the app are not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
Changes to this policy are posted on this page with an updated date. If a change is significant, we will note it in news.
